Job Summary: Responsible for the active supervision of students during student contact times (regular school day and/ or out of school time programs). Responsible for providing safe, developmentally appropriate learning/ enrichment environment, manage student behavior, serving as a positive role model and being a supportive adult.Under direct supervision of the Principal to patrol school building, to ensure a safe and secure building environment, as well as the personal safety of students, staff, and visitors.

Essential Skills:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, parents and the general community
Ability to relate and communicate effectively with people of different cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic background
Demonstrated success working effectively in a diverse, collaborative team environment, with skills in promoting cultural inclusiveness
Skilled in supervision of students
Ability to assist students providing patience and understanding;
Ability to be punctual and accountable for responsibilities of the position

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or completion of sufficient education to successfully perform the duties of the position
Successful experience in security or law enforcement
Experience working with adolescents required.
Capable of speaking English and Spanish (bilingual)

Pay and Benefits: Competitive Pay and Benefits based on the contract
Duty Days: 188
Hours: 7 hours: 8:00am-3:30pm
