The Sr. Manager, Subscription Enablement will be a critical part of the Subscription Management Operations team, and will be responsible for supporting both new and existing subscription business initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director, Subscription Management, this role requires the ability to understand and support business strategies, business processes, and organizational considerations across the entire subscriptions portfolio. Team members are expected to work at both the broader conceptual and specific detail level, shaping concepts into executable operating models. They work directly with various business owners, the Subscription Operations team & necessary cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any/all escalations and defects. This role will also consistently engage with technology teams to understand Best Buys existing and upcoming capabilities to expand and enhance the Subscriptions business.This posting is for two roles, one focused on business design, and a second focused on reporting:The business design role will be expected to deliver functional business designs, create detailed process decompositions & capability definitions, and help prioritize various subscription initiatives. A successful candidate will bring end-to-end knowledge of subscriptions business models, familiarity with technical capabilities, and a focus on customer experience to create holistic functional designs and drive them to execution. The reporting role will be expected to build and execute against a vision for subscription domain reporting and analysis, providing appropriate visibility and detail to leadership, business, & operations teams. A successful candidate will bring business acumen and well-honed analytical skills to address customer & subscriptions business questions. You will be known for providing insightful, well crafted, data driven insights that solve business problems and reveal unknown opportunities to help us better serve our customers.Basic Qualifications:3+ years of experience in a large consumer-oriented business in the retail and/or subscription industry 3+ years of product, reporting, or project management experience3+ years of experience applying analytical techniques to solve business problemsAbility to clearly communicate complex ideas and results to leadership & less technical partnersNatural curiosity when encountering unusual or unexpected results in workAbility to understand basic and complex architectural diagrams and data flowsExcellent written and oral communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience 5+ years of product, reporting, or project management experience5+ years of experience in retail and/or subscriptions business design and development3+ years of experience with end-to-end project management3+ years of leadership or managerial experienceFunctional knowledge / use of reporting and dashboarding packages such as Tableau, Power BI, Teradata & BOBJFunctional knowledge / experience with various reporting / data query concepts (SQL, ODS, EDW, etc.)
