Job Description for Lead Data Analytics Engineer with Big data:

• Collaborate with other engineers and architects to create and maintain tools, technologies and automated processes that enable frictionless delivery.
• Understands how to build and manage complex systems
• Create automated systems and frameworks that enable the seamless delivery of systems and applications.
• Leads the creation of visual measurements to facilitate continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Lead engineering of core infrastructure APIs to enable self-service delivery.
• Expert in applying engineering and software development best practices to streamline product/service delivery

Qualifications for Lead Data Analytics Engineer with Big data:

• Master's degree in a related field
• 7+ years of technical experience managing the design, creation, delivery and operations of engineering systems including Hadoop
• 4+ years of hands on experience with Big Data tools and Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Spark, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience working in data analytics and reporting
• 5+ years of experience working with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Business objects
• Experience pulling data, combining & performing analytics with it
• Extensive experience writing complex SQL statements
• Desire and ability to learn new data technologies and concepts quickly
• Exposure of working with tools like Dremio, Nifi, Kafka
• Expert in applying software engineering best practices to automate the delivery of engineering products
• Experience with DevOps practices such as source code management, CI/CD & cross functional partnership
• Fluent in at least two programming/scripting languages including Python and Spark, Scala
