Front End Developer-Java Duration: 3-6 month contract to hire

Telephone and web ex/Skype

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

Responsible for the development and maintenance of JavaScript-based enterprise web applications by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, support and maintain complex enterprise web applications for internal users using Angular JS, Java and SQL.
• Responsible for thorough testing of developed components in development and staging environments.
• Translate requirements and use cases into technical designs and functional code.
• Assist with work estimating based on requirements and technical designs.
• Act as a mentor for other developers on programming issues.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years software development experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, web application architecture and relational database design
• Expert level knowledge of Angular JS or other client-side Javascript frameworks as well as jQuery
• Expert level knowledge of SQL and database stored procedures
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools like Jenkins is a plus
