Dot's Pretzels is searching for a financial analyst role for the corporate office in Fargo, ND to help us drive profitability through data-driven analysis. This person will have the ability to work closely with the commercial, accounting, finance, and management teams to analyze customer sales and profitability. Ideal candidates will be organized, quick thinkers, willing to develop reports from multiple data sources, and extremely analytical. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are a must. The Dot's Pretzels organization is a small team working in a fast-paced environment. The role will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communication and time management skills will be crucial to success in this role.Specific Duties Include:Develop and prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sourcesCreate customer and product profitability models that highlight recommendations for revenue enhancementsConduct promotional performance analysis; prepare sales and financial reports to present to management and the commercial teamReview past sales data to determine trends in productivity, promotional influence, and seasonalityEvaluate third-party data and incorporate into internal demand planningAssist commercial team to develop forecasts for new product launchesPresent actionable and timely information and insights to team members and managementProvide accounting support in addition to managing special projectsJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Sales, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration requiredAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExperience with ERP software preferredKnowledge of sales practices and trade spend programsAbility to develop and interpret sales metricsStrategic thinker, looking to improve processesFlexibility in working with a wide variety of peopleAbility to maintain confidential and sensitive informationExcellent prioritizing, detail-oriented and organizational skills requiredDependable, team oriented, and independent Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
