Pro Staff is hiring for TIG Welders in Sauk Rapids. Shift options include 2nd shift or weekends! You would be programming, set-up and running of various welding machines to include: hand welding using a TIG welder and orbital welding using an orbital welding machine of stainless steel and other high-purity materials.

Job Duties:
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform mechanical set-ups and changeovers for all welding operations.
  • Responsible for the study of prints, drawings and specifications to complete finished welds and lay out of tasks using specialized computer welding equipment.
  • Proficiently use all approved hand gauges to inspect component quality at the work center.
  • Demonstrated Ability to process and inspect work in accordance to prints.
  • Ability to perform a sequence of operations, consistently maintaining the performance level set for quality and quantity.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to develop advanced welding processes.
Hours: 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11pm Monday- Friday OR weekends 7:00am-7:00pm Friday - Sunday.
Pay Rate: $18-24/hr

Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a 2 year professional trade program in Welding Technology or equivalent- or currently enrolled in such a program
  • Basic math, blueprint reading and weld to print skills.
  • 3+ years work experience performing Tig welding of stainless steel or less experience with a Welding technology degree (or currently enrolled in Welding Technology Degree program).
  • Basic PC skills for manufacturing.
  • Experience working in high-purity clean room environment.
  • Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferred.
