Field Operations Technician

We provided performance-based wage increases.Position Purpose:The purpose of the Field Technician position is to complete the necessary field operations tasks, such as taking measurements and drawing site plans for interstate sign placement, related to the Interstate Logo signing and TODS (Tourist-oriented directional signing) programsEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Taking measurements and drawing of site plans for sign placement along controlled and non-controlled access roadways.Drawing as built plans (plans to ensure correct location and specifications of logo signs)Update and complete all sign inspections annuallyDevelopment of new site plans and drawing of site plansMinor sign repair and sign maintenanceOccasional installation and removal of signsVegetation control (site clearing) related to the ground mounted signs including removal of trees, brush, weeds, etc.Attend safety meetings monthlyOrganization and cleaning of warehouse space and supply yard areaTravel 90% by vehicle.
