Come see why! Position Summary: This position is responsible for managing the activities of the Bank's deposit operations department. This includes managing the staff, processes, and procedures. This person will also continually test the current processes and procedures to look for efficiencies and improvements. This person also manages deposit conversion work for all M & A activity.Responsibilities: Oversees the entire deposit operations of the bank, which includes reviewing, creating, implementing, and managing the entire process.Manage the Deposit Operations staff which includes assigning tasks to appropriate teams, managing time and providing training opportunities.Have a working knowledge of all applications in the Fiserv Premier system as well as others used in house.Assist with product development for new/existing deposit products.Act as one of 2 liaisons with our data center, United Financial Services. Manage the Director Workflow process and work with IT to set up the appropriate processes to efficiently capture documents electronically.Complete monthly review of various GL and internal DDA reconciliations.Ensure state and federal withholding is submitted on a regular basis and reconciled annually.Work with UFS to ensure End of Year processing is completed timely and accurately.Work with IRS annually to correct social security number mismatches.Ensure annual escheatment process is completed timely and accurately.Manage and compile due diligence information for third-party deposit-related vendors.Proactively look for efficiencies in the Bank's deposit operations and work with Chief Operating Officer to implement changes in policies and procedures.Provide support to Tellers and Customer Service Representatives at all branch locations.Verify access controls to core applications for all bank staff.
