This growing industrial controls and instrumentation manufacturer is hiring a full-time, permanent Field Service and Support Technician. The average employee tenure is over eight years and would be over 15 years if they did not recently add new staff. The company utilizes technology to improve customer manufacturing operations through the use of technology. The technology used is primarily Allen Bradley, Siemens, Parker-Hannifin, Motion Control, WonderWare, IFix, HMI SCADA, AutoCAD, and other various Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs).

If of interest, there are opportunities to grow into a Controls Engineer, a Designer, an Engineer, and/or other areas of
the company.

The successful candidate's duties will include:

  • Participating in projects with Design Engineers involving installs and commissioning at local customer sites
  • Receiving a significant amount of training
  • Field service and support
  • Traveling locally (no overnight)
The successful candidates background must include the following:
  • Three years of controls experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Parker-Hannifin
  • Three years of field service and support experience
  • Web handling experience
  • A strong electro-mechanical background
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • A passion for field service and a desire to fix things
