As a Senior Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Maximizing process uptime by ensuring waste feed optimization, preventive maintenance, and spare part availability
Optimizing waste processing methods by developing and applying knowledge of each waste's physical and chemical characteristics
Increasing process throughput through improvements in waste mix, process efficiency, and equipment design
Improving overall process capability by identifying, driving, and implementing new equipment and processing techniques
Investigating root causes and drive corrective actions for issues relating to process safety and regulatory compliance
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Five (5) combined years of process engineering and/or manufacturing engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Eight (8) or more years of process and/or manufacturing engineering experience
Experience working with industrial and/or manufacturing equipment
Experience in a chemical processing manufacturing and/or industrial environment
Experience working with an incinerator or similar combustion environments
Experience working with process safety and/or regulatory compliance
Travel: May include up to 5%
