QC Tech - 2nd Shift

CorTech is in search of motivated QC Tech's for a client in the Janesville, WI area

Start time: 1:30pm (8-10hours)

Payrate: $11.50/hr.

Primary Function will be doing tests on products to ensure that all products running pass the line are in good quality.

Duties and responsibilities

QC LINE

??? Get specification paper from the supervisor.
??? Check specification paper for accuracy. Ensuring lot number, use-by date, batch code, and number, and weights are correct.
??? Set-up printer, weight checker machine, and x-ray machine.
??? Perform x-ray and weight check tests every hour.
??? Prepare and transfer information of the product into the computer.
??? At the beginning of the run, take fist two packages off the line to perform the test.
??? Check the product's weight. Measure temperature, salt, volume, drain weight, and noodle weight (if required). Check seal integrity using plier and measure the width of the seal area. Ensure to repeat all tests every 15 minutes and 2 packages for a test.
??? Perform Conductivity test by taking 2 packages off the line. Weight products, perform conductivity tests using amp meter, check drain weight, noodle weight (if required). Ensure to repeat all tests every 15 minutes and 2 packages for a test.
??? After line finish, correct the data from the computer by printing it out, ensure to save all the information. Test x-ray and weight checker at the end of the production.
??? Clean area after the finish.

FACILITY

??? At the beginning of the day, check and ensure all scale in facility works properly.
??? Check the temperature of all incubators, freezers, cooler. Ensure the temperature is in the acceptable range
??? Perform daily scale verification.
??? Perform evaluation of products from previous day production. By check at appearance, smell, tasting.
??? Collect and send samples for laboratory tests.
??? Send samples to customers (as required)
??? Perform acid test for seal integrity
