Your role will be to support the project needs; such as digging trench, HDPE pipe fusion, dirt hauling, and overall site dress up.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Travel for extended periods of time - 4 weeks on, l week offLiving in hotels & traveling between states I00% of the timeWalk long distances, up and down steeply sloped landfil.ls and outdoor terrainAbility to do heavy, manual workLift a minimum of 50 pounds on a non-consistent basisWork in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions safely including on very odorous project sitesClean up work areas, clean and fuel vehicles and equipment as necessaryAvailable to work overtime and weekends if necessaryAssist site supervisors with the materials and equipment needs and helping to collect supplies for projectsPerform system construction activities in a safe and proper mannerFuse HDPE pipe ranging from 2"-36"Operator Responsibilities/Qualifications:Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipmentConduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessaryWork with ground personnel in the excavation and installation process of laying pipe on line and gradeEnsure trench is excavated to the proper depth/gradeAbility to grade on I:1, 2: I, and 3: I slopesCut grade with minimal time spent on excavating to ensw??? e production is on scheduleConduct trench work, which meets 01 ISA requirementsOperate Excavator, maintaining proper awru??? eness of ones surroundin gs.Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbancePerform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the ExcavatorAbility to step out of equipment and assist with ground work if need beLandfill construction experienceOil and Gas pipeline experience5 + years' experience in operating excavator, dozer, and articulated dump truckBenefits:$17.00-$30.00 per hour pending experience/qualificationsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance (Paid by the Company)Company Matching 40 IKPaid Time OffDaily Per Diem (Lodging, Meals, Travel Expenses)Room for advancement within the CompanyOvertime available (40-75 HRS is typical)
