Accounting Manager

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The Accounting Manager position calls for a strong senior-level accountant with highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The Accounting Manager reports to the Secure Parking USA Controller.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key roles and responsibilities listed below:

?? Assist the Controller in Preparation of timely and accurate monthly reports including Balance Sheet and P&L

?? Assist the Controller in preparation of monthly CEO report

?? Assist the Controller in month-end close process

?? Reviews processing of payroll, accounts payable and receivable

?? Responsible for overseeing timely sales tax filings

?? Maintain procedures to ensure accurate and timely payments to owners as required by contractual terms

?? Responsible for month end process

?? Coordinate/manages annual audit & tax return preparation

?? Assist the controller with preparation of annual budgeting process

ACCOUNTABILITY

The Accounting Manager shall assist and support the Controller who is responsible for managing and improving the organization's financial performance, maintaining proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, developing financial plans that support organization strategy and providing leadership and direction to the accounting operation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a CPA.
• 4-6 years of experience with some supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate the financial and management accounting functions of a diverse organization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate efforts across various business departments; collaborative working style to partner across various levels in the organization.
