Will be involved in supporting experiments critical to the function of the Winfield United Innovation Center and to delivering upon our strategy: to provide our owners with the most innovative and rigorously validated agricultural products in the industry. Will also conduct periodic maintenance of equipment and laboratory space. Develop quantitative and qualitative methods for investigating new products and supporting current portfolios. Assist research managers in conducting experiments to meet the needs of the product development groups in areas of Spray Technology, Green House, and Growth Chamber.Responsible for set up and support of experimental equipment including:Benchtop analytical equipmentCreation and setup of test fixturesArrangement of high-speed photography equipmentAlignment of laser diagnostic equipmentChemical sample preparationPlant specimen preparationExecution of spray atomization and deposition experiments in low speed and high-speed wind tunnels.Maintenance of laboratory and equipment including:Routine cleaning of laboratory equipmentVerification of equipment operation, monthly calibrationsUnderstands resource planning and assists in any data management needed for the processGeneral laboratory upkeep:Assist with interpreting and presenting data insights and responsible for certain aspects of product development projects. Utilize instruments to gain better understanding of pesticide droplet movement as impacted by various variables (nozzles, TM partners, environments, crop, adjuvant components).Provide support to other research laboratories and programs within the Innovation Center, including:Controlled environments (greenhouse & growth chamber)Field researchChemistryMaterials characterizationInnovation Center Safety: Follow all laboratory rules and regulations, including health and safety policies, to guarantee the highest quality results.
