Vertical CNC Machinist / Programmer

* A company in Germantown is looking for an experienced Vertical CNC

Machinist/Programmer

HOURS: 1ST OR 2ND SHIFT

MAJOR ACTIVITIES:

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce parts
• Read and interpret prints and drawings
• Create and/or complete documentation
• Demonstrate broad understanding of production operations operations including set
• up and operations of CNC machines, including lathes horizontal and vertical mills
• Insure quality performance exceeds customer expectations
• Insure all communications channels are used to share information quickly and
• accurately
• Complete in process inspection documentation as required
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to perform CNC programming and setup and operate machining equipment
• CNC mill
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Experienced in using measuring tools using established tolerances
• Practical use of precision measuring instruments
• Soling understanding of machining process
• Ability to set up, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC equipment
• Ability to read blue prints
• MUST HAVE Basic MRP knowledge, G-code, ability to read/interpret complex prints and drawings and quality specifications
• MUST have a High School Diploma or equivalent
