The Primary Responsibilities of This Position: Beat the competition in training, friendliness, cleanliness, and hospitality! Be the best in the business!!Recruits, hires, and trains all cashiers and employees to uphold a positive, professional image and demeanorPays close attention to the store's cleanliness to guarantee we are ever-pleasing our customers; ensures regular cleaning checklists are in place and used effectivelyNotes any any store maintenance needs and sees such needs are corrected in a timely fashion so the location's desirability by customers is maximizedPlans to beat prior year's sales of fuel and non-fuel items and inspires employees to help in accomplishing the goalCompletes all schedules to ensure labor objectives and quality customer service is metTrains and executes suggestive sales for each and every in-store purchase!Conducts regular employee reviews and sets a plan for growth for each employeeMaintains effective, positive communication with vendorsSeeks community involvement opportunitiesReviews profitable potential of products and promotions and makes suggestions and recommendations based on these reviews for sales growth opportunitiesSecures and maintains appropriate food handling and preparation licenses and permits.Assures reasonable certifications and refresher training required for various store positions The Preferred Manager Has the Following Experience: Basic accounting skills requiredHigh school diploma or GED requiredBasic understanding of cash management, security, safety, and sanitation required.Three or more years' experience of management of at least three people.Tech-savvy with strong experience in e-mail (and email etiquette), spreadsheets, and word processingUnderstanding of financial statementsAbility to multi-task effectivelyAbility to inspire and lead others!
