Conagra Brands, be part of building something BIG.Conagra Brands is seeking Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift for the Sandwich Bros. of Wisconsin plant located in Milwaukee, WI. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for plant maintenance and support of the equipment throughout all plants as well as keep the plant and its primary electrical and mechanical systems running. All procedures and practices used are grounded in standards, regulations and laws addressing food safety and food quality, as well as environmental safety in accordance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments.Makes basic facilities maintenance repairs and oversees or assists in that process if outsourced.Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hand tools and power tools.Provides routine inspections and monitoring of most equipment.Starts devices to test their performance.Lubricates and cleans parts.Supports and follows standards for food safety and food quality production reflected in SQF 2000 as well as the regulations of major vendors and governmental agencies such as OSHA, FDA and EPA.Records and documents according to procedures, assuring that all equipment documentation is up to date and accurate. Prepares unscheduled work orders to support production requirements.Keeps work environment clean, safe and positive.
