ROCHE BOBOIS, world leader in the High end furniture industry is looking for a Showroom Manager within it's Edina, MN showroom opening end of September 2020. The ideal candidate will be benefiting from an intensive period of training on sales techniques, corporate process and Roche Bobois collection knowledge.


The main responsibilities will be:


Sales:

  • To guarantee high-end customer service (in-store, phone/ email communications...);
  • To ensure proper follow up with the clients;
  • To meet defined Sales objectives;
  • To guarantee the follow-up and respect of our '5C's signatures' program;
  • To coordinate weekly meetings with the sales team to review the performance (leads/ quotes, monthly sales objectives);
  • To organize regular products training (weekly basis).


Business Development:

  • To develop the trade and contract business with professionals (Brokers, Hotels, Developers, Designer) in collaboration with the Commercial Director and the Business Development Manager;
  • To assist in the coordination of the in-store Events with the Marketing department;
  • To assist in the prospection of new advertisement options, media.


Merchandising:

  • To optimize display dynamics and presentation setup;
  • To review sales statistics and recommend new store orders to the Commercial Director;
  • To ensure proper labeling and pricing of displayed products;
  • To promote the quick ship program;
  • To prioritize the liquidation of items with the low turnaround, to be replaced by better seller items;
  • To supervise the bi-yearly Inventory.


Administrative:

  • To track/ check sales order, cancellation, store credits and opening of credit lines in accordance with efficient and lawful practices;
  • To guarantee the correct and accurate entry of orders in IT system (Ecolix);
  • To ensure the allocation of stock items in and out of the showroom;
  • To guarantee the supervision of all supplier orders, including order confirmations -> no sales orders without PO;
  • To follow customer service issues with the after-sales department, upon the internal process.


Requirements:

  • Experience in furniture Retail Sales,
  • Strong communication skills and Manager attitude
  • customer service oriented;
  • Motivation to work in a sales environment;
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent;
  • Interior Designer certification a plus.


Work Schedule = 5 days a week with Saturday being worked day;
