About Your Journey to Plasma Center Operations Manager

We are looking for manager candidates to fill future plasma center manager positions within the state of California

Program Highlights:

o The Program will be for a period of approximately 6 months. After completion of the training program, Sr. OMTs will have an additional 12 months to establish a BioLife Plasma Center Manager position.

o Company-paid travel (includes flying) up to 90%-100% of the time for duration of training program and relocating upon completion of program

o Hands-on experience, mentorship and networking within various BioLife Plasma Services locations across the United States

o Develops and promotes Sr. OMTs into open Plasma Center Operations Manager roles, nation-wide

o Home every other weekend. Relocation not required until Plasma Center Operations Manager promotion obtained

o High potential to open and operate brand-new BioLife Plasma Services location after program completion

o Relocation not required until Plasma Center Operations Manager promotion obtained

Primary Responsibilities of the Sr. OMT role include:

o Drives personal learning and development with the goal of supervising all operations

of a plasma collection facility. This includes learning about and maintaining

compliance with GDP, GMP, SOP, CfR, CLIA, OSHA, and all other federal, state,

local and company regulations related to safety, purity, potency and quality of

product, as well as employee and donor safety.

o Assists in center production as needed, to both ensure ongoing compliance and

efficient business operations and to obtain & maintain production knowledge &

proficiency.

o Focuses heavily on incorporating personal leadership skills to ensure continued

plasma donor retention, high customer service levels, employee engagement,

employee retention, and an environment of teamwork.

o Seeks feedback and coaching from managers and partners.

o Engages in the management and execution of all aspects of staff relations as

appropriate. Includes staff communication, providing ongoing feedback to

employees, developing employee talent to support company growth, performance

reviews and compensation, planning for staff recruitment and assisting in

management of the recruiting process.

o Works toward obtaining promotion to Plasma Center Operations Manager position by

way of networking and relationship-building

o May provide operational support in the BioLife network and conduct management

training.

Education- Associates or Bachelor's degree highly desirable

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies for this role:

o Proven experience leading medium to large-scale teams (20+ direct reports) for

results (approximately 5+ years)

o Experience working with SOPs, GDP, GMP, CLIA, FDA or within another highly

regulated industry a plus

o Must have excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational and technical skills.

o Ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop a team of diverse individuals.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, problem-solve and communicate with

senior management.

o Requires weekend and extended work periods

Other Important Requirements:

o During the program, trainees will be required to work out of various BioLife Plasma

Services locations.

o Must maintain a valid driver's license for the entire duration of the program.

o Production environment requiring the ability to walk and stand for the entire work

shift.

o Requires frequent leaning, bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching above the

shoulders and below the knee. Requires frequent lifting up to 32 pounds, and

occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

o Must have fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment

sounds from a distance.

o Due to potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of production based

work tasks require pro-longed glove wear.
