ROCHE BOBOIS, world leader in the high-end furniture industry is looking for a Sales & Design Associate within it's Minneapolis, MN showroom. Showroom location opening end of September 2020.


Under the supervision of the store manager, the Sales & Design Associate will be the brand ambassador in charge of the customer experience and service in the showroom, from greeting and assisting the client in the Roche Bobois collection discovery to fully creating design projects.


The Sales & Design Associate will be following up on the purchase process with Roche Bobois clients. He/ She will be benefiting from an intensive period of training on sales techniques, corporate process and Roche Bobois collection knowledge.


Missions:

As a Sales & Design Associate, you will be responsible for understanding clients' needs in order to offer the best service while maximizing sales.


The successful candidate will be driven to achieve sales in a high-end market and develop a long-lasting relationship with its customer.He/ She will show fast learning capacities, enjoy responsibilities, have a professional demeanor in all methods of communication, and have the desire to sell products and the brand.


The main responsibilities will be:


Sales:

  • To welcome and greet customers;
  • To discover and comprehend the needs of the clients
  • To use and apply the Roche Bobois selling techniques (5C, 8 Signatures..)
  • To learn the Roche Bobois collections and be able to present them to our clients;
  • To know and apply Roche Bobois policies and have all key information needed to sell (Quick ship stock references, samples, pricing..)
  • To use our 3D software company tools for projects;
  • To follow up with leads in a professional manner;
  • To be on house calls when required.


Factory purchases follow up:

  • To place purchase orders to our factories and be in charge of their follow up;
  • To provide updates to clients when needed


Customer's service:

  • To coordinate with the NYC headquarters the resolution of potential issues with our customers;
  • To be service-oriented and follow up with clients regarding their service requests;


Merchandising:

  • To update the store tagging (Prices, special promotion tags.) and Marketing store tools when needed.
  • To assist in the preparation of the furniture displays of the showroom upon corporate policies and under the supervision of the store manager.
  • To report any store improvement needed to the store manager and assist in its resolution.


Requirements:

  • High-end Attitude and presentation, Confident, Passionate, Pro-active, Creative, Team player, Ability to learn quickly.
  • Proven success in high end furniture Sales;
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • Interior Designer certification a plus;
  • Auto CAD and/ or 20/20 software knowledge a plus;
  • Bilingual French or Italian a Plus;
  • Schedule = Total of 5 days a week with Saturday being worked day; Flexible with schedule changes
  • Required Travel for Training: 2 Week Training Period in our Chicago IL showroom will be required. Travel and expenses will be paid by the company.
