We have an opening for a skilled and experienced, Director, Global Strategy & Marketing for our Rexnord Energy Sector. Reporting to the Vice President - Energy, this position is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans, managing organic and inorganic growth platforms, and shaping the solution and technology strategy.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Drive organizational thought-leadership in current and future state of business end-markets across key regions globally. Identify and monitor short- and long-term industry trends.
Articulate and leverage the unique abilities of the business to deliver value to the customers.
Develop and deploy growth strategies that deliver above-market growth. Analyze potential market opportunities to provide a basis for investment.
Develop and manage vertical growth roadmaps and priorities (organic and inorganic) that enhance Rexnords competitiveness in target industries.
Shape the growth strategy towards a globally balanced portfolio, with incremental share coming from emerging economies.
Identify market and portfolio adjacencies, develop M&A target funnels that lead to strategic alliances/acquisitions that enhance value propositions.
Develop a strategy for winning against the competition. Benchmark competitive offerings, assessing their strengths and weaknesses.
Strategy Deployment
Work cross functionally to deliver strategic plan. Prioritize capabilities to aligned with long-term strategy; articulating how each capability will help to achieve the vision.
Lead execution of commercial excellence initiatives and Build commercial excellence capabilities (strategic account management, go-to-market Organizationel, innovation, strategic marketing) and an agile, results focused culture.
Determine effective ways to deliver solutions for the identified strategic opportunities/challenges. Where there are gaps in the offering, analyze buy, build or partner to complete the solution.
Continuously assess commercial capabilities against competitors and against global best practices to find areas where significant improvements are possible.
Strategic Marketing
Develop and deploy value propositions and marketing programs in conjunction with product and commercial teams.
Discover customer needs and problems
Create and manage the marketing plan, covering programs to enhance awareness, preference and selection, with measurements and goals.
Identify, scope and conduct market and industry studies.
Scope and lead voice of the customer.

Experience and Skill Required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Engineering - MBA preferred.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in strategic marketing and/or business strategy.
Global/multi-national experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-starter with a sense of urgency.
Nimble and adaptable; able to succeed in fast moving environments.
Ability to problem solve and apply targeted corrections for sustained improvement.
