We even have a reverse mentoring program which allows us to share our knowledge and strengths across our multi-generation workforce.Responsibilities: Working with senior level Product Design engineers in designing of computer system infrastructure, components, and sub-assemblies.Research and document component parts to generate a BOM (bill of materials).Hands-on experience in performing thermal, acoustic, electrical, and mechanical testing of components and systems to validate and generate the test reports for the design against program requirements.Portions of this job will be in a lab environment validating and qualifying conceptual designs and prototype product implementations.Requirements: Sophomore, junior, senior in a Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical/Product Design Engineering program.Experience or training in solid modelling software is helpful, SolidWorks preferred.Experience or coursework in Electronics Packaging is preferred.Basic knowledge of electrical principles and electronic components.Basic element analysis experience is preferred.Education and Experience Required:Minimum2nd Year of University completed--typically an Engineeringdegree specialization.What we can offer you:Extensive benefits, a competitive salary and participation in the shared values and purpose that make Hewlett Packard Enterprise one of the worlds most attractive employers!
