As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Development and the Development Lead to service all development needs of our clients. The Project Manager is accountable for the overall satisfaction of BevSource customers while they are in the development process. Aligning customer expectations, establishing clear concise timelines, effective and timely communication of project status, communicating effectively with internal departments, and responsibly transitioning customers to the SC Team are key aspects of this position.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):

  • Complete satisfaction of development customers is the Primary Responsibility.
  • Address every issue a customer may have either directly or by utilizing other departments/resources for assistance. Ensure appropriate escalation as needed
  • Meet/Exceed Customer expectations - drive the process and navigate the project to completion utilizing beverage knowledge and project management skills
  • Develop, maintain, and utilize beverage industry knowledge - Be the expert! Must use internal resources/expertise to expand your knowledge.
  • Maintain an understanding of all internal processes within the organization that impact your ability to service the customer
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of NetSuite
  • For assigned projects, review SOW's to ensure complete understanding of project scope
  • Communicate timely and effectively with sales regarding any secondary opportunities
  • Conduct Kick Off Call with customers and align expectations of project by confirming details of the SOW and customer's needs
  • Create concise project timelines and communicate details to the customer
  • Conduct regular calls with customer to review project status
  • Research, identify, and make recommendations on co-packers for new customers and projects
  • Grow and maintain co-packer relationships and capability knowledge to be able to provide exceptional service levels to our customers
  • Work with customer to develop packaging options as desired ensuring they align with co-packer capabilities
  • Manage new artwork set-up with customers and vendors
  • Develop an understanding of compliance regulations and certification requirements - FDA, TTB, Organic, Kosher, Gluten Free, etc.
  • Manage compliance for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages utilizing internal and external resources as needed
  • Required to ensure proper set up all production customers, their FG products, and associated RM's in Net Suite. Example: Setup pack fees, update raw material items, build bill of materials (assemblies) in NS.
  • Prepare cost of goods sold and cash modeling for new product concepts
  • Advise customers on general supply chain and cost saving strategies
  • Manage commercialization process for production set-up of new products
  • Conduct a Pre-Production meeting whereby you are transitioning the customer to SCA. Include all impacted departments in this meeting (CS, Compliance, Accounting, and CP) to ensure customer is set up properly in our system
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth
  • Track time spent on projects to further analyze BevSource customer profitability
  • Participate in the BevSource EOS/Traction Process
  • Support Director of Development/CP and Development Lead as needed
  • Traveling to manufacturing facilities to monitor large-scale production for new and/or existing BevSource clients may be required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Production Planning, Purchasing or similar role
  • Strong Excel, mathematical, and negotiation skills
  • Strong MRP software skills/understanding
  • Customer service driven with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-directed and hard-working
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Energetic and Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time (international travel may be required)
  • Ability to work nights and weekend when traveling
