Job Summary

Oversee daily operations of provider enrollment staff in multiple locations, ensuring that providers, facilities and entities are processed in accordance with contract agreements and that all elements of the enrollment process and all other departmental functions are carried out efficiently and thoroughly. Organize and maintain daily administrative operations and workflow of the department by prioritizing and assigning work. Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of both provider and facility enrollment. Review staff productivity and performance and consistently look for opportunities to optimize staff performance. May include conducting audits as required of applications, turnaround time, accuracy, etc., in order to ensure there is no disruption within billing and reimbursement and to maintain compliance. Generate internal ad-hoc reports on quality, performance, and productivity and provide analysis as needed. Coach and mentor staff, determining possible needs for supplemental training. Complete annual performance reviews. Function as a resource for employees and clients. Assist with the hiring process including interviewing and new employee orientation. May assist with employee discipline and terminations. Must be able to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment showing excellent decision-making and problem solving skills. Cultivate positive working relationships with all internal and external customers. Must understand and demonstrate leadership capability, handle conflict and negotiation. Self-directed with a high level of accountability and require minimal supervision.

Department Details

The hours for this position are normal business hours with flexibility. This position will focus on billing and claims and will need prior knowledge and experience in these areas.

Qualifications

Associate's degree required.
Minimum three years' previous experience as a Provider Enrollment Representative or similar experience required. Experience in a managerial or supervisory role in an enrollment or billing environment preferred.
