- Mechanical Designer or Detailer

- Software's that they will being using include AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Inventor, Vault, and Total ETO (Total Engineering to Ordered which is a manufacturing ERP system). Also open to anyone with Solidworks as they have had people come from that background. The 3D Modeling is the most important of these items as demand for this has increased from their customers.

- People with experience in machine design is critical. This can also include someone from the packaging industry as it relates to the window/door industry. They are not interested in someone with mechanical layouts or product development unless they also have machine design experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- machine design experience as that best fits their business and end customers.

-2 year Tech degree they're open to which they will help train in on the systems and how they go about day to day. If they are more towards the intermediate or advance level they will be expected to hit the ground running in the software and pick up quickly on the design aspect's. If they have current experience they will need to ideally come from an Inventor background but will also look at Solidworks candidates

Best vs. Average
- They are not looking for anyone who has a jumpy work history and will pass on those candidates immediately. They are also not willing to look at any former employees of Erdman Automation/anyone who has already applied over the past 2 years. Someone from an architectural background has not worked out for them in the past as well so they would like to keep this strictly to machine design candidates.
