OverviewThis position is responsible for accurately accounting for all wholegoods accounting transactions and is a support resource for the Titan Shared Resource Center (SRC) and store locations.This position is a great fit for your career if you:Daily:Process equipment sales as needed to ensure sales are posted in a timely manner.Insure that daily cash is being posted into system.Track dangling balance with Case to insure timely payment.Reconcile supplier receivables & track payments made for dangling balance.Weekly:Review status 80 reports to ensure that all Case settlements are completed.Record and track various manufacturer discounts.Request cash from CHN for credits that have been written.Monitor inventory subsystem balances and make adjusting entries as necessary. Monthly Record month-end inventory entries correctly and timely. Insure monthly inventory account reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.Review and make entries as needed to reconcile customer wholegoods A/R.QuarterlyReclass AR/AP for contra-balance entries.Maintain outstanding factory programs spreadsheet.Timely research on settlement/contract issues as they arise, follow through and make necessary entries and adjustments. Monitor each store's compliance with the Titan Machinery wholegoods policy and report accordingly, including revenue recognition.Other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired:2 + years equivalent work related and/or military experienceKnowledge of accounting principles and practicesExcellent organizational skillsHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft ExcelExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and PowerPointDemonstrated strong decision making and problem-solving skills Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skillsKeen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independentlyAbility to work with diverse people/personalitiesAbility to see the "big picture" in the accounting department and be an advocate of change to improve efficiency and productivity in the department.Ability to handle and resolve frequent interpersonal conflictAbility to perform in a fast-paced, stressful work environmentAbility to travel up to 5% of the time and work flexible hoursExemplifies Titan Machinery's Core ValuesPreferred:Bachelor's degree in AccountingExperience with JDE or similar large-scale computer systems
