Aligned with the Attract pillar, the AVP, Diverse University Recruiting, will serve as the central point of contact for LPL's college/university recruiting with a focus on building relationships with colleges and universities to increase our diverse talent pool. Sitting in Talent Acquisition, this position will work in close partnership with the Employee Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team (with a dotted line reporting relationship).Core Responsibilities:Serve as central point of contact for all of LPL's college/recruiting efforts and collaborate with others in the company to create an overarching framework for college/university recruitingDevelop a comprehensive, diverse university relations recruitment strategy that delivers a best in class candidate experience and improves our ability to source, identify and select early career talentEvaluate and continuously evolve company internship programs to increase the attraction and retention of diverse studentsMaintain portfolio of relationships with colleges/universities serving diverse studentsDevelop relationships with college/university networks (alumni networks, fraternities/sororities, nonprofit organizations serving diverse undergraduate/graduate students)Develop key metrics and success measures for overall programWhat will success look like in first 90 days?Understand employee DEI strategy and the position's role in accomplishing its goalsBuild framework for a coordinated firm-wide college/university recruiting practiceDevelop operational plan and objectives/key results (OKRs) for engaging with Morehouse College and its alumni networkQualifications:5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with preference for experience in the college/university (undergraduate/graduate) fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey the message in a way that best meets the needs of the audience (i.e., PowerPoint)Ability to lead through influence and collaborationComfort with presenting to senior leaders and external stakeholdersAbility to develop, measure, and report program-specific objectives and key results (OKR)Expert knowledge in recruiting technology and emerging trends in university recruitingProject/program management experienceBA/BS or equivalent in relevant business experienceWhy LPL?
