We currently have an exciting contract opportunity with one of our leading clients!**Title:** Designer**Location:** Oshkosh, WI**Duration:** 6 months **Overview**+ The Associate Systems Designer will support engineers in designing the integration of Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS) and Situational Awareness (SA) system subcomponents of tactical wheeled vehicles.+ Support engineers with drawing layouts by utilizing computer-aided drafting software.+ Work within the Science & Technology group that focuses on emerging technologies like active safety, SA, electrification, adjacent market opportunities, etc.+ This person will focus on the integration design of ADAS and SA system subcomponents that will meet Scope of Work requirements and specifications.+ This position will require working in CREO CAD, Windchill PDM and JDE ERP software in order to complete the design activity from concept to prototype installation.**Responsibilities**+ Responsible for creating new and modified components and Bill of Materials (BOM).+ Update current drawings per markups based on direction from engineering; re-master CAD drawings to current format.+ Use computer-aided drafting systems to create 3D and 2D layouts of parts and small assemblies.+ Self-check own work to ensure accuracy and organization, dimension and tolerance convention, and conformance with established CAD specifications and standards.+ Prepare and create Change Notice (CN) documents based on BOM and design layouts for appropriate date entry.+ Utilize ERP systems to create part numbers following the proper naming process and data entry requirements.+ Create and review BOM following engineering procedures.+ Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production support.**Required Qualifications**+ Associate degree with four (4) years of experience in drafting/design.+ Must be 3D CAD system proficient.+ Ability to prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material while applying engineering and drawing standards.+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.+ Capable of using standard Windows Office tools including SharePoint, email, and CAD tools.+ Electrical knowledge is preferred as this group works closely with electrical group for electronics, gadgets, and power systems mounting.+ Proficiency in Creo preferred+ Open to candidates with strong design experience but may not have CREO/CATIA.**Important information:** This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
