Job Responsibilities
This position provides dining services and other universal worker duties as assigned in a caring, safe and efficient manner and is responsible to perform the following according to location standards and procedures.
Assists with preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals to residents following food service standards and regulations. Assists residents in interaction with staff, family and other residents during meal time. Washes, dries and restocks dishes, pots and pans and cleans kitchen / dining areas. Assists as necessary with laundry and housekeeping duties in the common areas and resident units; to include vacuuming, dusting, and changing/making the bed. Provides assistance with wellness or recreational programs and encourages residents to participate.
Qualifications
Prior work experience may not be required to be hired into this job.
Ability to communicate and comprehend in English
Ability to measure and comprehend quantities
Ability to consistently lift 30lbs
Use of computers for occasional training
Every other weekend and every other holiday
