Role: Procurement Data Analyst, Sourcing
Location: Maplewood, MN
Duration: 12 months, with possible extension
Position Overview:
Position is a support role requiring more work direction whereby worker follows generally defined procedures and provide analytical skills to position. You will work with a team to prepared data for an Enterprise Resource Planning System Deployment. Worker will pull data from a variety of systems, analyze the data using Excel and date rules that have been developed, recommend changes to make to the data and either request updates to the data or take further action to ensure data is correct. Worker will be trained to use a variety of systems to assist in data review and validation including SAP, HLMQC, and People Soft ERP system. Basic data entry skills and computer proficiency preferred.
Position Duties:
- Use Excel extensively
- Analyze data provided on various data reports, work with others to determine the data that needs updating or corrections, execute data fix
- Recommend data actions to others
- Track data as to whether the data fix has been addressed or not
- Communicate with Vendors and 3M Sourcing Experts on a variety of data issues/updates
- Prioritize work tasks
- Follow up on all outstanding tasks, questions, issues and ensure final resolution
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 year associate degree
- Good Communication skills, written and verbal. Can articulate thoughts/issues/resolutions in an organized and professional manner
- Able to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong Excel, Word skills
- LOCAL candidates only!
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree
- 1 year Procurement experience
- 1 year data cleansing for Enterprise Resource Planning System Deployment
- SAP experience
Soft Skills:
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work tasks
- Can collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues
- Prepare clear process documentation
Core Hours: Full time, M-F. Core business hours are 9:00am -3:00pm. Non-employee can structure their 8-hour workday around our core business hours.
