Clinic Primary Nurse LPN/CMA - Full Time/Float

Description

Lakewood Health System has an opening for a full-time Clinic Primary Nurse LPN/CMA at their Staples Clinic. The primary function will be to function within the level of knowledge, experience, license, certification and scope of practice to assist with care team with the implementation and coordination of patient care.

The Clinic Primary Nurse LPN/CMA will also be responsible for assisting with patient flow by escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vital statistics, reviewing / updating patient records for allergies and medications following a standard rooming process. They will assist with answering care team phone calls, managing voicemails, results-note call backs, MyHealth message management and replying to in-basket messages in a timely manner.

This is a full-time position working 80 hours a pay period between the hours of 8:30AM to 7:00 PM. This position will work out of Staples Extended Hours Clinic and will float to other clinic locations only if needed.

No weekends and no holidays required.
Qualifications

1. Current MN LPN Licensure or Medical Assistant Certification

2. Current BLS certification

3. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

3. Excellent communication and typing skills

4. Previous Clinical and EPIC EHR experience preferred
