Job Details
This is a school term, 7.0 hours/day (7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with a half hour duty free lunch) position. A health paraprofessional is responsible for providing care for ill or injured students, students with disabilities, and students with chronic health needs. The health paraprofessional also provides health screening and maintains communicable disease prevention records.
This is a job level 4 or 6 position. If the person hired holds a current license as an LPN or RN, the person will be compensated at Job Level 6. If the person is not an LPN or RN, but holds a current CPR and first aid certificate, the person will be compensated at Job Level 4.
Applicants must have two years of study at an institution of higher education (AA, AS, 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits). Applicants must have college transcripts on file with Human Resources to be considered for the position.
