Duties / Requirements Assisting in the setup, operation and maintenance of heat set web presses. * Understand the job ticket and other specifications of an assigned job. * Understand the standards as explained on the goal sheets and work toward achieving the goals. * Jog all paper into uniform lifts. * Conduct periodic quality checks * Monitor production and quality * Understand and comply with safety procedures regarding the operation of equipment & organizational policies. * Participate in, support and drive 5S and lean activities. Qualifications * Previous manufacturing experience. * Previous experience in a printing environment is a plus. * Word processing knowledge. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work independently with little or no instruction. * Problem analysis and problem resolution abilities. * Language skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret various types of correspondence. * Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
