Robert Half Legal is working to fill an open Contracts Manager role with a client in the Banking field. This role will be a vital position under the general counsel where effort is rewarded. The Contracts Manager will manage vendor and subcontracts agreement, draft contracts, and manage and re-negotiate contracts as needed. Individuals should be aspiring to apply their skills in an expeditious environment. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. What you get to do every single day

- Revamp and manage contract repositories

- Deal and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts

- Review and outsource contracts

- Draw up contractual provisions and administer contract proposals

- Look over and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements)

- Uphold and maintain contracts database

- Categorize internal and external requests on status of contracts

- Sprearhead the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

Job Requirements:
- Less than one year of experience

- Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Contract negotiation experience required

- Contracting experience desired

- A good fit for candidates that possess strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize tasks and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

- Proven ability to work cross functionally and influence key decision makers

- Skilled in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

- Bachelor's degree

- Comfortable with review and drafting of non-disclosure agreements; preferably, software evaluation and licensing agreements

- Must be able to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented

- Competent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

- Manage various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
