Provides a variety of administrative and technical assistance for the Human Resources Department in accordance with company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include providing support for HR operations, supporting the pre-employment, staffing and on-boarding processes, and coordinating other activities to integrate new employees in to the organization.

Essential Duties
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

??? Assists with implementation of human resources procedures, processes and programs. Answers and directs calls, greets visitors and responds to inquiries and requests for information, including verification of employment requests.
??? Maintains the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of employee files, both paper and electronic. Enters changes on a timely basis, processes new hire, status changes and termination information into computer databases. Requests missing information from departments as necessary.
??? Assist with recruitment process, updates job descriptions, posts jobs/advertisements, schedules interviews, physicals, and drug tests. Reviews resumes and forwards to appropriate managers. Responds to applicants and enters information in applicant tracking system. May assist with coordination and assignment of contingent workforce.
??? Coordinates the on-boarding process, assists with new hire orientation, creates new employee folders, and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new employee paperwork and entry into the computerized system.
??? Monitors introductory period for new employees, schedules and coordinates benefit meetings. Ensures new employees complete all benefit paperwork accurately and follow-up on late paperwork. Process all completed paperwork according to procedures.
??? Updates and maintains employment forms, department-Drive, and HR forms. Assists with surveys and gathers statistical data for compliance reports.
??? Prepares job postings, letters, memos, correspondence, charts, graphs, etc., for the department and plant as needed. Schedules meetings, notifying attendees, and coordinating locations, etc.
??? Works on special HR projects as assigned (e.g. employee engagement, social media, etc.) Maintains Company social media websites and provides information for HR and careers section. Assists with a variety of employee communications which may including company newsletter, and company bulletin boards.
??? Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requires the ability to operate a variety of standard business machines, such as computer/keyboard, typewriter, calculator, fax, and photocopier. Requires the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Specific vision abilities required in this job include vision and the ability to adjust focus.
