Summary:Do you enjoy working in Human Resources helping and assisting other employees? Then this is the job for you! Our local client is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist for their 2nd shift production facility with flexible working hours! This position is responsible for the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, recruitment/employment, safety administration, employment law compliance and Spanish language translation.

Responsibilities: ???Maintains safe practices and procedures with a focus on employee engagement???Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; ???Assists with the employee performance evaluation program.???Conducts recruitment efforts for hourly personnel and temporary employees and assists with new-employee orientations and onboarding new employees.???Assists with employee relations, counseling, and exit interviewing. ???Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.???Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. ???Responsible for entering employee data in the HRIS System???Verify weekly payroll reports prior to posting.???Assist and trains HRIS users in the timekeeping and payroll approval process. ???Performs benefits administration to include change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees. ???Assists with implementing and monitoring the safety program and compliance with OSHA reporting guidelines.???Creates and maintains spreadsheets
Qualifications:???3-5 years progressive HR experience with at least 1 year in a manufacturing operation.???Proficient in MS Office Suite ???Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, listening and presentation???Fluent in both English and Spanish languages???Excellent relationship builder with a willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.???Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment???Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple demands to meet tight deadlines???Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resource Management or related field with a PHR or SPHR certification is desired???Experience with Ceridian Day Force desired
