The ideal candidate will have some knowledge with welding / 12 volt circuitry / electric brakes , forklifts.

If you have a mechanical or farm background, this position would be perfect for you!

If you have your own tools, this is a plus - but not a requirement.

Employment Description of Duties for Service Staff

Service of all products handled by Ultimate Transportation

1. United Trailers
2. Neo Trailers
3. PJ Trailers
4. Beartrack Trailers
5. Master Tow Tow Dollies
6. Trailer parts, Towing and Vehicle Accessories thru Keystone, Bell Industries, Northern Wholesale,  Rockwell & Redneck

Service of products handled by Ultimate Transportation

1. Service trailers as needed (checking lights, fuses, electrical connections, bearing, brakes)
2. Propane filling
3. Inspect  service issues and write work orders for repairs
4. Service trailers as needed (checking lights, fuses, electrical connections, bearing, brakes)
5. Unload trailers from transport trucks and prep them for sale
6. Service trade in trailers and prep for resale
7. Assist with customer hook-up of trailer sold or serviced
8. Snow removal, mowing and trimming of property

General duties

1. Work starts at 8 Am – arrive at the appropriate time needed to be prepared

a) Prepare for duties of the day (service and rentals) – pull trucks and fork lifts out.

b) Open gates

c) Open doors and turn on Light

1. Closing is at 6 pm weekdays and 2 pm Saturdays
2. Put all equipment away
3. Lock gates and make sure trailers are locked
4. Turn off all lights and set security system

Lunch and breaks

• ½ hr Lunch and 2 – 15min breaks are not a set time  - they are taken as time is available
• work with fellow staff to make sure the service is not short on coverage at the time you need to take lunch or breaks
• Cleaning – We do not have a outside cleaning staff so we all are responsible for
• shop  - keep work spaces clean
• Bathroom – Clean weekly
• Lunchroom – clean up after yourself
• Assist with sale floor on Saturdays that you work.
