A company in New Berlin, WI is looking for a Quality Control Manager for a 7:00 am - 5:00 pm opportunity.Responsibilities:The Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that the quality management system (QMS) is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner. This position will manage preventative programs and procedures to ensure superior quality products that meet or exceed customer quality and industry food safety requirements.Develop, implement and monitor best in class quality standards, policies and procedures utilizing innovative quality techniques and methods.Develop, implement and maintain FSSC 22000 based food safety practices, including policy manual, procedures and work instructions.Ensure company policies, procedures and practices meet current and changing regulatory or statutory requirements.Ensure all members are educated and updated to support adherence to quality policies and procedures, as well as specific customer requirements, expectations and experiences.Conduct thorough root cause analysis in a disciplined format (8D) for all major quality holds and customer complaints. Strive to minimize cost of poor quality by recommending and implementing policy or procedures changes or other preventive measures. Manage and lead effective and efficient corrective actions.Ensure appropriate and timely communication with customers upon non-conforming products and/or upon customers' requests.Work closely across all business functions to ensure quality processes are developed, communicated and monitored according to the policies and procedures.Lead all internal and external quality audits to promote quality system integrity, inspire customer confidence and improve internal procedures utilizing the feedback and findings.Lead and direct QA trainings to support best in class procedures and enhance the credibility and accuracy of the QA inspections.Accurately report quality information, including on-hold information, customer concerns, audits, general quality data and costs. Recommend changes to address trends in quality issues, customer communications, etc.Lead the Food Safety Team, including reporting on food safety concerns to management, maintaining HACCP plan and food safety policy.Lead Quality team, providing direction, managing performance and developing members to enable engagement and retention of key talent. Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members.Lead and promote continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization. Support CI & 6S programs in the production areas, assisting team members and reporting repeat variation to CI Leader.Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field and a minimum of 7 years of quality assurance in a manufacturing environment are required. At least 3 years leading and training on quality procedures required.Experience with ISO standards, Food Safety Standard and Six Sigma Certification are preferred.Excellent communication skills- both formal and informal, oral and written.You should be proficient in:Quality Inspection
