Position Information

Position Description & Details: This position will coordinate educational programs at NCI including marketing and outreach while working closely with NCI staff. This will include working with commodity groups, state and federal government agencies and private industry. They will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with university faculty and staff, industry presenters and any other collaborators. In addition, they will participate in outreach efforts at industry meetings and trade shows and help develop and carry out strategy .

Responsibilities: Work with director and other staff to coordinate, develop and implement new and innovative educational programs and materials that support NCI's mission to maintain and expand domestic and international markets, value-added agriculture for northern grown crops. Focus on providing exceptional service to internal and external customers through a professional and team-driven environment. Under direction of the director, secure financial resources to successfully carry out the educational programs and develop the material needed to fulfill the mission of NCI. Conduct outreach and investigations into finding the required speakers, presenters, and find the required expertise to ensure the long term success of the NCI webinars, conferences, and other educational programs and material development and projects.

Advertised Salary: Commensurate with experience

Minimum Qualifications:
* B.S. degree in Ag Economics, Food Science, Animal Science, Plant Science, Ag Education or Extension
* Good oral, interpersonal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in an ag related field
* Ability to work and lead teams, work independently
* Proven ability to multitask
