Accountemps is in need of a Senior Accountant with terrific experience and know-how for a long-term temporary opportunity in the Non-Profit industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities: - Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP - Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing - Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) - Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations - An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Take part in various department-wide initiatives - Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests

Job Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting - Experience with ERP systems - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation - Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing - We are searching for candidates that are proficient in financial reporting - Highly organized and self-motivated - Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience - Payroll experience - Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate - Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines - Self-starter and strong ethical standards - 5+ years of overall general accounting experience - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
