Parts Associate

Overview: 

Butler Machinery in Huron, SD is looking to add a Parts Associate to our team. As a Parts Associate, you will be responsible for helping customers by getting them the parts they need, as well as picking orders and stocking inventory. Prior parts experience is a plus, but we are willing to train a candidate with the right attitude and aptitude. Starting pay $19.90/hour. 

Responsibilities:

•    Identifying and procuring parts for customers, both walk-in and internal

•    Picking, packaging, and inventorying parts

•    Identifying and assembling hydraulic hoses

•    Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

•    Processing returns and core exchanges

•    Handling incoming and outgoing freight

•    Forklift Operations

•    After hours phone coverage when needed

•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

•    Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and truck parts is a plus

•    Detail oriented, with good organizational skills

•    Exhibit strong customer service skills and follow the customer experience.

•    Must have a positive attitude and welcome challenges

•    Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, working towards team goals and efforts.

•    Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment

•    Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 70 lbs. and be on feet most of the day.

•    Experience operating a forklift preferred.

•    Must be able to meet and maintain insurability of driving a company vehicle.
