Job Details
Position Description & Details:
Oversee and supervise all service, education, and research activities of the Bismarck site; manage Bismarck personnel and operate budgets; recruit new faculty, staff, and affiliated clinical education sites; coordinate faculty teaching assignments; develop class schedules, assist to facilitate monthly faculty meetings; conduct annual performance appraisals for faculty and staff; foster and encourage team building among faculty and staff; fulfill teaching responsibilities, as needed, during the academic year; provide leadership for assessment and accreditation activities in the School of Nursing (SON); work with associate dean to ensure compliance with Board of Nursing and CCNE accreditation standards for the Bismarck site; assist with preparation of Board of Nursing and CCNE reports; expectation of administrative duties in the summer for which a summer contract is offered.
Work Schedule:
Position is full-time for 9-month academic year and part-time during the summer term.
Advertised Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
Start Date:
January 1, 2021 (or earlier if available)
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing
Commitment to enrollment in doctoral program
Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills
Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with staff, colleagues, and students
Demonstrated commitment to equity and diversity
Eligible for RN licensure in North Dakota
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree
Supervisory experience with faculty and/or staff
At least 5 years of successful teaching in a BSN nursing program
Previous experience in budget management
