Location: De Pere, WIPosition Summary: The Technical Writer develops content for internal and external target groups and supports related Marketing department projects, initiatives and activities as assigned primarily but not limited to the Clean Technology Systems (CTS) division within Durr Systems, Inc.Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Content Development Press releases, trade magazine articles, technical white papers, case studies, articles for internal and external newsletters, interviews, social media posts, tradeshow invitations, website copy, brochures, datasheets, advertisements, etc. relative to DSUS Develop a dynamic communication matrix with relevant topics and media channelsEstablish a distribution list for CTS relevant media outlets/magazinesEstablish relationship with trade magazine editorsWrite and/or collect content on relevant topics for respective media and target groupsPropose and/or follow up on publication worthy topics Develop and/or update existing marketing material (brochures, flyers, datasheets, case studies, banners etc.) and organize distribution and reprintProof submitted and created materials and text for grammar, spelling and contentCollect and caption photos related to articlesShare final copy with the appropriate internal/external customer for approval where applicableReview and submit the final documents to supervisor for approvalPublish through relevant channels accordinglyOverall Marketing SupportCreate marketing lists in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) related to content developmentSend out external newsletters via Evalanche SoftwareHandle promotional item inventory in De Pere in cooperation with Southfield officeProvide marketing support to Sales and other departments as needed and within your scopeEnsure adherence of Corporate Design guidelines Support in event management and trade shows if neededReview and edit copy from colleagues, also from GermanyNonessential Functions:Perform other duties as assignedQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or CommunicationsFive or more years of position related experienceExposure to / familiarity with Durr products and markets preferred, esp. environmental technologiesExperience in working with magazines, editors, agencies, printers, and other suppliersProficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPointDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality as requiredVery good time management skills with the ability to determine prioritiesVery good organizational skills Very good verbal communication skillsExceptional writing and technical writing skillsAble to effectively communicate with co-workers and outside agenciesAble to work well independently and in a team environment Show flexibility as required by projectsAdaptable to change in a learning environment Physical Demands: While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands and arms.
