Full Time Parts Sales Associate

Department: Parts

Reports to: Parts Sales Manager

Supervises: None

Purpose:

Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition performs in-store and on-site customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties.

Responsibilities:

• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs at the location and at onsite customer visits
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
• Answers incoming phone calls
• Checks required bins and part numbers adjusting and reporting any discrepancies in inventory levels
• Additional duties as assigned by Management

• Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift 50 - 60 pounds on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift 75 - 100 pounds on a regular basis
• Candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist and reach on a frequent basis
• Candidate must have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR record
• Excellent customer service and phone skills
• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Candidate must become forklift certified within 30 days of employment
