This is a work from home position. Candidate must reside in New Mexico or Arizona.

You would be joining a talented therapy enterprise leadership team of 13 skilled & experienced therapists.

Job Responsibilities

The Area Manager is responsible for the overall clinical quality, integrity, service excellence and financial viability of rehabilitation programs within designated geography to ensure customer and enterprise expectations are met. Plans, develops, implements and monitors appropriate provision, documentation, billing of clinical services and customer relations. Identifies and implements growth opportunities and evaluates effectiveness of employees and ongoing programs.

The Manager of Therapy and Rehabilitation serves as an integral member of the team through implementation, coordination and evaluation of rehabilitation services and programs for designated geography. Supervises and directs team, including therapists, therapy assistants and other staff as necessary. Assists customers within their designated geography with outreach and program development to meet the customer's needs. Ensures and validates customer satisfaction through strategic planning, organic growth, problem resolution and relationship. Oversees compliance with accurate documentation, billing of therapy services, and denials, Partners with HR to ensure compliance with annual compliance and licensure requirements of all staff. Will demonstrate understanding of regulatory policy, clinical practices guidelines, compliance, reimbursement and documentation expectations in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements. Plans, develops, implements and monitors operations for overall quality, effectiveness, and financial viability. Works with Rehab and Care Delivery Team to ensure operational and clinical functions deliver desired results across defined area.Takes responsibility for the development, retention, hiring, performance management, compensation, and engagement of therapy staff. Partners with leadership team and utilizes HR resources.Implements optimal staffing plan. Oversees clinical competency of therapy staff and implementation of clinical resources, core programs and applicable specialty products. Partners with Clinical Specialist and utilizes/implements appropriate resources as recommended. Delivers patient care and/or clinical supervision to meet each patient's goals and needs as prescribed by medical doctor and determined by the evaluation and treatment plans. Ensure all care delivery is consistent with individual's license.Ensures staff is properly licensed and training in skilled therapy documentation; completes reviews for documentation quality and billing integrity; some reviews may be delegated to appropriately credentialed team member(s). Assists in the collection and preparation of required budget information as requested. Develops a culture in which all members work constructively to improve the performance of individuals and the team. Seeks opportunities to help team learn as teacher, coach, and mentor. Establishes and maintains productive working relationships within and outside of own area. Follows guidelines, regulations, standards and safety procedures in the therapy process.

Qualifications

Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure. Two years of experience in therapy and rehabilitation.Requires current licensure as an Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant or , Physical, Therapist Assistant in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position. When applicable, may require valid driver's license.
