Job Summary
$1500 Sign-On Bonus Offered Between October 15, 2020 and November 30, 2020
Good Samaritan Society - Albert Lea is an 85-bed long term skilled care and transitional care facility located in southern Minnesota in an area known as "The Land Between the Lakes". In addition to the care center, the campus also provides assisted living and senior housing services at its Hidden Creek and Bancroft Creek Estates Senior Living Communities.
- Part Time - 56 hours a pay period
- Day Shift - 500am to 130pm, and 900am to 200pm
- Rotating weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities
- This position plans, prepares and serves nutritious, appealing meals to residents following orders, standards and regulations in a caring, safe and efficient manner and is responsible to perform the following according to location standards and procedures.
- Plans, prepares and serves nutritious, appealing meals to residents following orders, standards, and regulations.
- Performs cleaning duties as assigned.
- Keeps kitchen and dining areas pleasant and orderly. Records temperatures as required.
- Completes meal census and other forms as assigned.
- Sanitizes equipment as per policy.
- Demonstrates proper use of chemicals used for cleaning, including using appropriate kitchen tools and procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior work experience in quantity cooking and therapeutic diets or related experience in a similar type location is preferred.
- Ability to communicate and comprehend.
- Ability to measure and comprehend quantities.
