Stevens County has an exciting opportunity for an IT Systems Administrator. Under the direction of the IT Systems Director, the IT Systems Administrator is responsible for implementing, troubleshooting and supporting all County technology through monitoring systems and providing help desk functions. This position is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff access to County approved technology tools.

WAGE RANGE
$22.54 - $30.28, depending upon qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
Two-year degree in Information Technology or a related field. Minimum of 2 years related experience in providing hardware, software, network and technology support preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

EMPLOYMENT VARIABLES
Applicant is subject to a comprehensive criminal background check prior to commencing full-time employment. The typical schedule is 40 hours per week. Additional hours may be required but vary based upon workload demands. On-call on a rotating basis.
