Director of Operations and Emergency Management

The Director of Operations and Emergency Management plans, manages and directs the school district's operational functions within the established policies, regulations, goals and philosophies of the district to support safe facilities and transportation for all students. This position maintains a safe and secure environment for students, employees and visitors by helping to develop, establish and enforce safety and security policies, access control procedures, accident prevention efforts, support risk management efforts, fire safety, and emergency management.

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above described duties.
* Minimum of five years of experience working with operations and safety management.
* Experience with multi-vehicle fleet management, preferably public transportation
* Experience in employee supervision and program management.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Up to one year of specialized or technical training in building trades and maintenance.
* Three to five years experience in electrical and/or carpentry maintenance.
* Experience in boiler operations.

Experience with snow removal and like equipment.
* Experience in HVAC.
* Chief Boiler License or First Class Boiler License

Salary Range: $86,313 - $115,964.
