Our sales team has an opening for a highly motivated individual with experience and technical skills relating to custom manufactured equipment for food + beverage, pharmaceutical and industrial markets.PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:To provide sales and engineering support in a manner which consistently yields effective assistance and service to our customers. In this role, you will apply your business and technical acumen to best partner with customers in food + beverage, pharmaceutical, and other industries. You will become an expert in our manufacturing capabilities and determining best fit and solutions for customers' requirements. You will also have cross selling opportunities and collaboration with other world-class companies within the Gray F group. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Engage customers in technical discussion to understand their needs and determine the best solution for their application. Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.Work with Design Engineering and Estimating teams to prepares cost estimates to implement the chosen solution.Identify target companies for Business Development initiatives related to the food industry.Work with the Sales Manager to develop and execute strategies for meeting and exceeding revenue goals.Contribute to sales team meetings and complete all goals and to-dos as required. Receive, enter, and confirm incoming orders.Coordinating and conducting visits and presentations with customers.Assist marketing efforts (technical input, project examples, events). Attend various sales/product training to better support customers & sales efforts.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:High school education or equivalent, plus 2 years of college or engineering school, or technical training.Minimum 5 years industry-related experience specifying or selling equipment for food, pharmaceutical, and/or industrial processes. Knowledgeable in food hygienic and sanitary requirements.Knowledge of food, pharmaceutical, and/or industrial processing techniques and equipment such as:- Mixing, Blending, Sizing- Pasteurization- Heat Transfer- CIP/SIP- Solvent ExtractionDemonstrated knowledge of processing equipment that Anderson Dahlen distributes. Detail oriented with strong planning, organization, and monitoring skills.Excellent communication/presentation skills.Proven ability in developing multi-level contacts at customer and building strong customer relationships.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and varied projects.Ability to relate well to others and gain the respect of co-workers.Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.Ability to work independently.REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:Complete knowledge of operations in the department, which will consistently meet productivity standards and quality requirements.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to respond to sales or engineering related inquiries from customers.Ability to understand customer needs and requirements to make educated recommendations.Thorough knowledge of Company and department policies and procedures as they relate to assigned accountabilities.Work scheduling reflects a thorough and clear understanding of job responsibilities and priorities.Ability to relate well to others and function as a member of the overall team.Deals effectively and cooperatively with established policies and procedures.BENEFITS:Bonus ProgramPaid Time Off (PTO)Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401K with MatchProfit Sharing ProgramLong Term Disability InsuranceShort-Term DisabilityEmployer paid Life InsurancePI
