Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Remote
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to prospect new accounts and new industries to grow and maintain a robust sales pipeline to support annual growth targets and diversification efforts
- Responsible to identify, acquire, manage, and develop new opportunities, accounts and/or applications for our products /processes within the custom precision gearing application and aftermarket segments
- Responsible to establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
- Responsible to analyze and monitor markets/industry segments for opportunities, trends and future developments with respect to business and product development in OEM sales and aftermarket sales.
- Responsible to drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
- Responsible to actively seeks and promotes new markets, industries or applications working with internal team and other resources necessary to provide a solution to the customer.
- Responsible to maintain extensive knowledge of current developments in the business market in order to assess the position of the company and determine how to improve it
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
- At-least 7 years of successful sales experience in the mechanical components field or related industrial sales.
- Experience or knowledge in precision gear component manufacturing, gearboxes assembly, testing, and service highly preferred.
- Experience in selling custom products including gearing and gearboxes, preferably in high torque, high speed type applications.
- Strong understanding of the relevant market and industry segments of mechanical power transmission, with respect to OEMs, equipment operators and/or end-users, and competitors.
- Willing to travel up-to 50%.
